This race is offered in-person and virtually!

Join us Thanksgiving morning for the 6th annual Friendsgiving 5k and One-Mile - Tyler Kreilter Memorial Run. Great for competitive runners and beginners, and everyone in between. You can run, walk, dance, or crawl your way to the finish line.

All participants will receive:

  • Race Swag - Custom Water Bottle! (Guaranteed for pre-registration, day of registration is limited)

  • E-Certificates
All proceeds from this event go to the Tyler Kreilter Memorial Fund. The Fund provides scholarships and other support for Blue Water area runners.

Packet Pick-Up and Race Day Registration
Packet pick-up (for those that pre-register) and DAY-OF registration will be from 6:30am-8:00am at the Mariner Pavillion in Marine City, located at 102 Pearl Street, Marine City, Michigan 48039.

Race Start Times
1-Mile Walk/Run - 8:30am
5K Walk/Run - 9:00am

Virtual races MUST  be entered by 11:59pm on race day.

Registration Fees
In-Person: $20 through August 30, 2021; $25 through September 29, 2021; $30 until race day.

Virtual: $25 through September 29, 2021; $30 until race day.

Location
Mariner Pavillion (beside Marine City Beach) - 102 Pearl Street, Marine City, Michigan 48039 (where Water Street and Pearl Street meet). 

Parking
Street parking available on nearby side streets. Ample parking available. 

Course and Amenities 
There will be no water stations on the course. Participants are responsible for their own hydration. Light refreshments provided after the race. Porta-Johns will be available.

This is truly a race for everyone! This is a great tradition and wonderful way to start your Thanksgiving! You won't regret being a part of this!

We need volunteers to help with Check In, Day of Registration, Packet Pickup, and Food Drink Stations. Actual assignments to be given on race day. All assignments are under the Pavilion. We need volunteers beginning at 6:30am.
Volunteers will distribute finishers medals to participants as they complete the race and cross the finish line.
Course Marshalls will be assigned to intersections throughout the race course and will need to be in place directly following Welcome and Morning Announcements and will need to stay in place until the last walker and Follow-up vehicle have passed your location. Responsibilities include CHEERING ON and ENCOURAGING the participants and Keeping them from missing any turns or running into traffic. Please dress for the weather and get a cup of coffee or hot cocoa before you head out.
One 4-wheeler and driver to lead the front runner throughout the course.
Ride in the back of the follow-up vehicle, following the final runners, assisting on the course, and collecting the inspirational signs.
